This publication provides a comprehensive evaluation of replacement brake pads for police patrol vehicles.
This evaluation provides law enforcement agencies across the country with information that will help them to make informed decisions regarding replacement brake pads. Results show significant differences among the various brake pads submitted for evaluation. The differences between the aftermarket pads tested and the OE pads have been quantified and the final test report identifies the friction materials and performance results. This evaluation project was administered by the Michigan State Police Vehicle Test Team for NLECTC-National during October 2010.
