Drawing on descriptors from the National Criminal Justice Theasaurus, a comprehensive online search was conducted to construct a criminal violence bibliography drawn from 10 databases and other sources.
Abstract
The 134 citations include documents published between 1941 and 1985. Subjects include spouse and child abuse, aggression, the role of substance abuse, pornography, medical and psychiatric aspects, terrorism, victimology, homicide, sex offenses, robbery, recidivism rates, and social and psychological aspects. An author and subject index and information on document availability also are provided.
